There’s not much information out there on the Des Moines Motorcycle Co. It was a short-lived business operated by O. Gudenachwager, that probably got its start in 1913 or 1914, and was gone by 1916.

Advertisements featured Indian and Henderson motorcycles, ranging in price from $200 to $325.

This advertisement for Torpedo Motorcyles was published in The Daily Times on April 3, 1909. The cycles manufactured by The Hornecker Motor Mfg. Co, in Geneseso, Illinois, were sold by John Vollertsen in Davenport, Iowa.
